Planned on a stepped, irregularly shaped site that is long from north to south, this is a final home that makes use of the couple's hobbies.
The exterior is simple and modern, with three volumes covered with sloping roofs of the same gradient to clear the high slope. The interior is Japanese modern, centered around a Japanese-style room with a sunken kotatsu-style hearth, and all rooms except the garage and bedroom and the balcony are connected by a central void and split-level floor structure. Class 3 earthquake resistance supports the safety and openness of the long, narrow home, while the high airtightness and high insulation (HEAT20 G2 level) performance removes temperature barriers, providing the basis for achieving comfort and energy savings in a continuous space.
